To further strengthen Avantium’s Legal department in Amsterdam in the next phase to commercialization, we are recruiting an energetic, pragmatic, and hands-on team member.
Legal Counsel

As a Legal Counsel, you will work closely together with the Senior Legal Counsel and report to the General Counsel. You will provide proactive legal guidance and solution-oriented advice on a wide variety of legal matters across the organization. This includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements and assisting with corporate governance, HR/employment, IP and compliance matters, and corporate/M&A projects. As part of this close-knit legal team, you will be able to broadly develop yourself in the next phase of your legal career.
Profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a lawyer within a top-tier law firm and/or as an inhouse legal counsel
- experience with commercial agreements and/or corporate law
- keen interest to indulge in the world of innovative and renewable chemistry technology
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- fluent in English and Dutch
