Our client is a private investment firm operating from offices in, among others, London and Luxembourg. Due to growing operations our client would like to get in touch with interested interim professionals to temporarily strengthen the legal team.
Interim Legal Counsel Investment Management
Dutch or Anglo-Saxon law background, experience with (non)listed derivatives is a plus

Together with around thirty colleagues in different countries you work on high-profile and complex projects/deals/stakes. You cooperate with stakeholders in Cyprus, London, Luxembourg, as well as with banks, mainly in Europe. If so required, you engage external lawyers from specialized top-tier law firms. You report to the Head of Legal in Luxembourg. For an important part you will work remotely. Some travel to London may be necessary.
Profile
- Dutch or Anglo-Saxon law background
- trained in a top-tier law firm (banking & finance, capital markets, investment management)
- ideally in combination with in-house experience, e.g. an investment management firm, hedge fund, investment bank
- sound reviewing and negotiating skills
- entrepreneurial and international mindset
- fluent in English, German or French is considered an advantage
Proposition
- unique position at a private investment firm
- high-performance setting/challenging activities related to transactions on the regulated market, over-the-counter, structured products and temporary transfers of securities, warrants; master confirmation agreements for derivatives etc.
- start: as soon as possible
- ideally 4-5 days a week
- for a period of approximately 3 months, with the option to extend
