Our client’s collective redress team focuses on providing finance solutions for matters ranging from bundled claims to class actions in various areas including securities litigation, anti-trust follow-on claims and/or claims brought on behalf of consumers and public interest non-profit organizations. To further expand our client’s team we are looking for an
Dutch law background or any other continental European jurisdiction
You will be responsible for sourcing, assessing and coordinating high value strategic dispute finance solutions throughout Europe focused on collective redress. In addition, you will review applications for funding (analyzing factual and legal issues, preparing/presenting due diligence analysis, assist the legal team in the preparation of funding documentation) as well as manage funded cases (monitoring the progress and adding value in strategic direction and settlement discussions).
Profile
- interim lawyer/legal counsel (experienced or recently started)
- who enjoys an entrepreneurial and international environment
- and has both a strategic and a hands-on way of operating
- fluent in English and one or more other European languages
- experience with operational/project management issues, for instance as transaction lawyer or in-house counsel
- experience with complex litigation, collective redress litigation experience is a plus
Proposition
- working together with the other members of the EMEA collective redress team, other regional teams and clients with EMEA related investments
- reporting directly to the director collective redress EMEA
- ideally starting in February, 3-5 days a week
