In order to further strengthen the Benelux Legal team, we are recruiting a
Commercial Legal Counsel
aiming to grow the business whilst also managing and mitigating legal risks
aiming to grow the business whilst also managing and mitigating legal risks
You support the marketing and sales activities, providing proactive and pragmatic advice and offering a solutions-based approach. Tasks include legal advice on all areas of commercial law including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, as well as legal advise on (digital) marketing, advertising and promotional actions, E-commerce and IP. You ensure that the business complies with internal policies, local legal and regulatory requirements. In addition, you provide training and manage litigation.
Profile
- a law degree and living in the Netherlands
- around 5 to 10 years’ work experience
- gained in an international law firm and/or as in house counsel
- experience with commercial contract law
- affinity with IP, E-commerce, (digital) marketing and advertising
- business partner and entrepreneurial thinker, fluent in English
